Stockholm part 3

This is one of my favorite pictures because i love that boat!! It's a really nice one and it fits perfectly with the rest of the landscape in Stockholm

hmmm...my mom thought that the colored picture looks much better so, for her i'm going to post also the colored version of it, although i think it's out of focus.

I have to disagree with your mom, the black and white one has more of a spirit...
But the colors are nice especially the color of the sky...

what's it gonna be?

I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see

Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind

Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, all your money won't another minute buy

Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind

----------------------------------------------------

Most of us probably know exactly what material things they want to own in a few years from now, but how many of us know what kind of a person they want to be when they'll be older? Why is it that today material things have become more important than anything else, and we do anything possible to have them?
All we are is dust in the wind, and in my opinion the most glorious reason to be remembered after death is because we were great people that inspired future generations.

*listening to: Kansas' "Dust in the wind"

That's one of my favorite songs. I can actually sing it pretty well, too, and I'm no singer.
I enjoy your entries; the text is just as much fun as the fotos. I added you to my favorites. Cheers!

nature in Stockholm

All three pictures were taken in the botanical garden in Stockholm. The first picture is more of a personal joke. When I was younger I saw a picture of a dandelion in the National Geographic. It was a beautiful one and I thought that you must be a professional photographer to take such a picture. And when you took one like that, you know you've made it. So when I was in Stockholm I decided to take this picture of a dandelion. It does not look like the one in the National Geographic, but i guess it's not bad either.
The other two pictures don't really have a story behind them but they remind me of a beautiful day.

*listening to: Iris by Ronan Keating (he has a pretty good new album)

beautiful? u were sleeping most of the time!! hehe.. and made me think about africa! Wed 28-Jun-2006 22:01

choices, choices, choices...

I guess now i'm hooked up on this blog thing... It's just because I have so many pictures that I want to share. Not that they are great, but each and every one of them has a meaning to me.

This picture reminds me of Enya's song "Only time"(one of my favourites). There're so many times in our lives that we have to make a choice out of a multitude of possibilities. I guess it's always time that lets us know if we made the right decision.

“Some choices we live not only once but a thousand times over, remembering them for the rest of our lives.” - Richard Bach, an American writer. Wed 28-Jun-2006 21:56

Summer landscape

ok... i never thought that i will do a blog site but i figured out that a page with some of the pictures that I took would be a good idea. Here in Sweden I made a good friend that taught me a lot about photography and how to take nice pictures. He is so enthusiastic about it that I became interested in it. Of course, there is still a lot that I need to learn and I'm only at the beginning, but please bear with me. A lot of the pictures are processed with Picasa, which is a new program to me so there is plenty to learn there as well. Anyways let's hope that there will be some progress in time.

My first picture represents a Swedish landscape at sunset. It was a nice walk in the nature and we were lucky enough to have this beautiful view. I'm very fortunate to have such good friends around me that constantly try to cheer me up these days and take me to all these beautiful places.
Guys… I really appreciate every second I spend with you. I’m really lucky to have you. I love our basketball games (even when I lose), picnics in the cemetery, long walks, water fights and the movies when I always fall asleep. Besides, I’m so much better at self defense now. Big kisses and hugs to you!!

im so happy that you are happy. keep up the spirit of happiness. will definitely miss the moments, especially a picnic (with mosquitos) in the cemetery. Wed 28-Jun-2006 21:42
